Clientron Corp., rename from Bcom in 2007, developed the world’s first 486-based thin client in 1996. Through its experience in the IA industry and vision for automotive electronics, it became the leading TC maker among the top 3 manufacturers in the world and in 2001 by starting in-car infotainment business. As the business competence and strategy are totally different for thin client and car infotainment, the company decided to separate their operation by two independent companies. From 2007, Clientron focuses to thin client and other embedded IT solution business provides technical advances and total solution service to end user energetically. The car infotainment business is transferred to his 100% owned subsidiary, who keeps the original name: Bcom Electronics Inc.

The headquarter of Clientron, located in Sijhih City, Taiwan, is in charge of management, marketing, research and design, while its factory is located in Xiamen City, China, specializes in professional production.
